Laying the foundation for total health

In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly. When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse. If you tried to build your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. These concepts apply to your body as well, and chiropractic care addresses many common reasons why people experience pain and other health issues. If something is not right with your body's foundation, than that needs to be addressed before true health can be achieved. With chiropractic care, your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care . . .

1

Paper Work

Your initial visit will consist of you filling out paperwork in the office, or if you schedule an appointment online, you will be sent the paperwork in the appointment confirmation email which you can then fill out and submit to our office digitally.
2

Introductions

You will then be introduced to our staff, read a pamphlet about 'subluxations' (which is what we 'treat' at our office) and then shown a brief video with some further education and explanations about what how we help people.
3

The Doctor

You will then see our Chiropractic Physician: Dr. Bill Lawler. This initial consultation is at no charge to the incoming patient.
4

Health Screening

You will then be offered a 'health screening', at our expense, to determine if you or your child has 'subluxations'. This consists of a posture check and 'motion palpation exam' to determine the likelihood of subluxations.
5

Full Exam

At this point you will be asked if you want to proceed with a full and comprehensive chiropractic exam. We will discuss the charges for this exam with you at this time. Along with range of motion and neurologic tests, we also perform a full computerized scan of your spinal muscles, associated thermal scan for autonomic nerve function, and heart rate variability test. Depending on your age and condition and findings from the exam, digital X-rays may be recommended and performed at this time.
6

Follow Up

We will then set up a time on a subsequent day for a complete: Report of Findings to go over the results of your examination, scans and X-rays.
We will tell you if we feel that we can help you, and then what would be required of you time wise, frequency wise, money wise.

We look forward too seeing if we can be of help to you and your family!
